Excellent Lithium Ion Battery
Lighter than comparable NiCads, these batteries run longer per change, and give more charges during their life. I have had 2 of them with my Makita Lithium Ion tools for more than 5 years now, and they are still working great! I'm very happy with this product.

Excellent Quality
Makita makes excellent batteries. Charge fast. And last long. Not all tool manufactures do so well with their batteries. I'm not sure why. I have some Ryobi tools and their batteries cost about the same as Makita but have a short useful life. Their great when they are brand new but, after a few uses they go bad and after a few months they are virtually useless. On the other hand, Makita batteries, even nicad, work well for many years. I am going to stick with Makita tools from now on.
